THIS IS INDIGO BLUE FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2015

Introduction
This inky shade of navy blue and indigo which is a combination of deep blue and violet is a part of the Spring/Summer 2015 colour palette for men, and is currently a must have this season. The good news is we can expect this colour to continue to be a part of the mainstream colour palette for Autumn/ Winter 2015. Hence, investing in a few good indigo blue pieces this season means you get more bang for your buck as they stay in trend for a longer time.

Indigo with Brown
Combining indigo blue with chocolate-brown is a fresh approach for colour combinations this season. We’ve tried combining the two colours in our Spring/Summer 2015 lookbook and we absolutely loved the look.

The key to carrying off this pairing is to combine it with dark neutrals like black and brown, making sure that the accompanying brown is a shade darker or lighter from the original base colour.

How to wear this colour
This season, indigo blue is the new black, and a colour for all seasons. The key to wearing it the right way and to ensure that you stay on trend with this timeless colour shade is to try pairing multiple shades of indigo blue for a styled monochrome look. Whether it’s a casual or a smart casual outfit, a monochrome look is one of the most sought after style statements this season.

You could also incorporate the floral trend in your everyday looks by choosing indigo blue pieces that sport this unique pattern and pair them with either indigo based bottoms or less attention-grabbing neutrals. This is a great way to include a little bit of fun in your dressing style, and remember “All work and no play, makes Jack a very dull boy”.

Make sure to improvise on your looks depending on the occasion. If you are able to do this, I can assure you that these indigo pieces will become the workhorses of your wardrobe; reliable, stylish & contemporary.
